Trisha Yearwood raised $24,000 in just 15 minutes for an animal charity on Monday.
The country singer, 57, took to TalkShopLive on Monday to raise money for Dottie's Yard as part of the #BettyWhiteChallenge.
The challenge is an online movement spearheaded by fans calling on people to donate money to animal shelters and other animal charities in honor of the late comedy legend Betty White, who passed away late last month.

'I just think Betty right now is so happy that this is the way that the world is choosing to celebrate her birthday by giving to animals which was so near and dear to her heart,' the She's In Love With The Boy singer said.

In the video, which was shared on TalkShopLive Yearwood was joined by her two dogs, both rescues, who sat quietly beside the star.

While Yearwood said she never personally met White, her husband Garth Brooks and their children got a chance to meet the Hot in Cleveland actress.
She said that their daughter Ally was young when she met Betty, but she was still taken by the Golden Girls star.
'I think Betty's appeal was just really โ there was no limit, no age group,' she said. 'Everybody loved her.'

Yearwood also provided an option for people who could not spare any money but could provide other services instead.
'If you can't donate money, everybody has a shelter,' she said. 'There's a local shelter in your area or humane association. You can volunteer, you can drop off supplies.'
She named off old towels, dog beds, food or 'anything else that you can come by.'
