Yelawolf is an American hip-hop recording artist. He is well known for his album called  Creek Water and the part of the reality show The Road to Stardom with Missy Elliott.

Yelawolf was born Michael Wayne Atha on December 30, 1979, in  Gadsden, the USA of Cherokee ancestry.

His mother’s name is Sheila and his father’s name is unknown, his father was from Cherokee.

After the great Sucess of Kickin, in 2009 he signed with Get-O-Vision Entertainment and released with extended play Arena Rap. He also signed a major record deal with Interscope Records.

He appeared in a show named Bizarre’s Friday Night at St. Andrews. In March 2011, he joined a record deal with Eminem. After the great success of the album with Eminem.

On October 30, 2011, he released another single called Let’s Roll. In 2012  he signed a deal with one of the great Britain singers Ed Sheeran. They named the promotional song You Don’t Know.

On January 31, 2012, EP was recorded in just 10 hours. On February 5, 2013, he launched his first song from Trunk Muzik Returns “Way Out” then the second one was “F.A.S.T. Ride” and the third one was “Gangster”.

He premiered his debut single Love Story titled “Box Chevy V” on Shade 45. On September 22, 2015, he announced his third studio album, “Trial By Fire”. On October 10, 2016, he released an Ep called Hotel.

In October 2019, his sixth studio album, Ghetto Cowboy, and first independent studio album since signing to Eminem’s imprint was released.

Yelawolf released Yelawolf Blacksheep, an 11-track mixtape with fellow rapper Caskey on February 19, 2021.

On February 5, 2021, the first single from the record, titled “Been a Problem” was released.
